Sheer Thong Swimwear
The reason for wearing a sheer thong swimwear to the beach is simple–you want to tease whether you’re in or out of the water. But before baring your assets, make sure that you do have the right to do so. Aside from the necessary curves, you should also be prepared to bare almost your all by getting rid of the fuzz down there. The preferred solution to your hairy troubles is to just wax it all off, Brazilian style.
Go bare
Though there are different methods of waxing the pubic area, the Brazilian way is recommended especially if you want to put on skimpy pieces. Brazilian waxing means leaving no hair standing from your bikini area to your butt. Since the objective of wearing these see-throughs is to divulge your assets when you’re wet from a swim, it wouldn’t actually be very appealing to see hair peeking out.
Go to a licensed cosmetologist
If it’s your first time to have it all waxed off, be sure to go to a reputable salon that employs licensed aestheticians and cosmetologists. People who have the expertise and the experience will know how to handle such procedures. But if you’d rather do it yourself, there are waxing kits from beauty suppliers that you could try out.
Take pain medication
If your pain tolerance is on the low level, it’s okay to pop a painkiller about 30 minutes before the procedure. If the pain still lingers after the procedure, ask the aesthetician to apply a soothing salve or lotion to reduce the discomfort. It will eventually fade away in an hour or so after the session.
Use hair growth inhibitors
To make sure that your newly waxed area stays hair-free and smooth for long, you can use hair growth inhibitors in the form of lotion or ointment. These don’t immediately stop the hair from growing back but can help minimize the growth and thickness over time.
Don’t wash or wet the area
Since your skin is tender after the session, aestheticians advise not to wash or wet the area hours after the waxing. So be sure to do your business before going to the salon, or you can wipe off with wet wipes and pat dry with a tissue.
Don’t forget to exfoliate
After a few days, bumps and ingrown hair may grow on your waxed patch. Don’t fret because this is normal. To relieve the discomfort, you could try using a gentle exfoliant or scrub over the area when you take a bath. This removes any leftover wax and dirt and helps smooth out the skin to minimize those bumps and reduce itchiness. Having a bare and bump-free bikini line can definitely make you look hot on your sheer string swimsuit.
